CLOUD MEDIA CENTER (CMC) PAIRS UP WITH THE FIGHTING IRISH AND UNHD, ADDING A NEW “PLAYER” TO THEIR TEAM OF PUBLISHERS

CMC EXPANDS ITS VIDEO DISTRIBUTION FOOTPRINT BY CARRYING ON BOARD A DIVERSE RANGE OF LOCAL, REGIONAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL SPORTS PUBLISHERS

PONTE VEDRA, FL, August 2, 2023 –– Cloud Media Center (CMC) recently added yet another star player to their roster of sports publishers. The Unofficial Home of Notre Dame Football (UHND.com) is a fan site founded and managed by Notre Dame supporters for Notre Dame fans. Kyle Flavin founded UHND in 1997, and it is still one of the oldest continuously running Notre Dame websites on the internet. In 1997, Kyle launched the first version of UHND on the Geocities domain. Later, he transferred the website to AOL and then to UHND.com, where it has remained ever since. Frank Vitovitch, who had founded TheGoldenDome.com before the 1998 season, joined Flavin in heading UHND in 1999.

Given their well-known status as a website in the college football and Notre Dame communities, we couldn’t be more pleased to welcome UHND to our roster, says CMC President Jay Handline. The Unofficial Home of Notre Dame Football (UHND.com), which provides full, year-round coverage of the team, is relied upon by Fighting Irish supporters, and CMC, a supplier of video ad inventory, is aware of the significance of such scale and devotion among Fighting Irish supporters.

UHND.com has been mentioned and referenced in a number of prestigious media, including Sports Illustrated (print edition) and ESPN.com. Furthermore, for the past four years, Frank’s work has been featured in the annual Notre Dame season preview publication Here Come the Irish and has been referenced in various online sites. While the website is managed as a hobby by the pair, they both take UHND seriously and seek to develop a professional-looking website that provides Notre Dame supporters with the best source of free news and information about the Fighting Irish.

This innovative new relationship benefits both Cloud Media Center and The Unofficial Home of Notre Dame Football (UHND.com) CMC with a respectable NCAA partner and a sizable, highly engaged national sports audience. CMC Sports provides revenue to the UHND website with its own media player and specially produced, high-definition video material for Fighting Irish fans.

“CMC Sports can provide custom video featuring any sport, team, conference, league, or association, that’s what makes us unique,” said CMC Chairman Bob Portrie. “We are so excited about this latest addition to our CMC Sports network as this popular site for the Fighting Irish brings the latest and most relevant news for their respective fans.”
